All the undesirable traits you mentioned in your post, "the lack of the will
to fly, flying a just bit off the kit, nervousness during night fly, lack of
obedience, raking for too long, not trapping in time, dropping on its own"
are not undesirable traits but are just the breeders fault who didn't train
his birds to the standard a tippler should be trained. The only part I agree
a bird should be eliminated is when she couldn't fly long enough ( 18hrs +)
not the lack of will which could be the result of some illness like some of
your birds this year. A tail ride is totally genetic and yes if it is in a
bird older than 4 month old then it better be eliminated.
There is a difference between a bird which is not able to fly 18hrs+ and a
bird which is able to fly 18hrs+ but is not trained to dark fly and would
just fly 15-16 hrs and lands by dusk but would be able to fly longer if
trained for. (this part is just for those who always criticizes my 18hrs+
standard).
