I am not one that believes in mixing birds of different ages. Yes I know we
all have heard of the guy that flew a yb with an old bird kit and all was
just great. There are exceptions with all things I guess, but if it was that
great all of us would be doing that.

Sure, I am just having fun with them as I get for free time. I am sending
some pics taken when it was still a large kit. it is quite nice to see such
a large kit perform without a mistake. I have many recorded many videos of
the large kit as well.
That's a very good question. In my opinion printing a young E Tippler comes
to individual experience and their training program. Anyone can use any kind
of food as long as its work for them. But usually when a young E tippler
gets separated from their parents they should go with barley until they
fully printed. I know what are your friends saying and I know them too.

I want to ask questions about feed ups of the very young tipplers which r
separated from their parents when they r about 5 weeks old..
When we do separate the 5 weeks old youngsters; 1-Do we start to feeding
them on barley only? when they r separated from their parents, 2-OR teach
them to learn the eat the pigeon mixtures, first or two weeks on mixtures
then started with barley only to print them?

While in Melbourne for the AFTU meeting on the 22/1/11 we visited Lucky's home and Loft. Lucky gave us a brilliant demonstration on how to land birds on a Chatrie. You had to see it to believe it. It was magic to see how he has trained his birds to land on the Chatrie considering all the other buildings around his loft. The birds all head to the Chatrie like ducks to water.
what i will do with the 4 birds i got back is when the birds made it back i
was there with the droppers under them and food ready for them 2 eat ,i
always do this when i miss a kit in the dark, young or old more young birds
trying to dark train them and when u do get them dark trained r they spoilt
birds .
With the right birds and some luck when the BOP leaves you alone the 10 hr
mark is not that hard to achieve.
See, years ago I had tipplers that would not fly more than 7 hrs no matter
what I did. Davey even helped me with advice on feeding but still no 10 hrs.
So I got rid of them poor creatures and got different birds from Klacar who
